Small pauses.
Fresh perspectives.

Ideas to see your game from a different perspective. General information to start reflecting; individual support has its own space.

01

Concentration

Returning to the present after a mistake

A mistake can stay on your mind even after the next point has begun. Acknowledging it, pausing briefly and choosing one concrete action for the next play may help you refocus. Try a simple word to remind you of that action, without demanding that your feelings disappear.

02

Communication

A conversation that starts off the court

Set aside a quiet moment to discuss how you like to receive support. Each person can explain which messages help and which distract them. Agree on a brief way to communicate between points and review it after the match.

03

Confidence

Measuring more than the result

Winning and losing are part of competition, but they do not tell the whole story. Choose a behaviour within your control: preparing each point, keeping a routine or asking clearly for support. Afterwards, review that behaviour as well as the score.
